One question a day, drawn from decks like Hopes & Dreams, Travel & Adventure, and Us & Our Love. You each answer first, then see the answers side by side. It's the fastest way to learn something new about someone you already know.
Two-player games
Sea Battle, Four in a Row, Hangman, Draw & Guess, Two Truths and a Lie, trivia, and more — turn-based, so a move in one time zone waits for the reply in another. Games in progress sit on your home screen until it's your turn.
State of the Union
A short, structured pulse on the two of you: a win, something that was hard, one thing you need this week. Both of you fill it in privately, and answers reveal only once you've each submitted — no reading the room first.
Every day
A daily photo, a mood you can set in one tap, a color of the day to spot out in the world, a countdown to the next visit, and the distance between you, live. Small enough to do in thirty seconds; enough to feel like you were there.
Shared board
One canvas for the two of you. Strokes appear on your partner's screen as you draw them, and the board stays up until someone clears it — so a doodle left at midnight is still there in the morning.
Card decks
Decks for a phone call — Heart to Heart, Dares & Truths, Closer — and pass-and-play decks for when you're finally in the same room. Cards you've drawn don't repeat, and the deeper decks are opt-in for both of you.
Weekly recap
Questions answered, photos shared, games played, streak kept — wrapped into a card each week that you can share or keep. Over months, it becomes a record of how you actually spent the distance.
Widgets
Miles apart, days until you're together, your partner's local time and mood, the shared board — as Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets on iPhone. Tap any of them to open straight to that part of the app.
Private by design
There are no public profiles, no feed, and nothing to discover. Everything you write, draw, or photograph in Knotli is visible to exactly two people: you and the partner you paired with.
Deeper decks and mature content are off until both of you turn them on, and either of you can turn them off. Your account is yours to delete at any time, from inside the app or by emailing us.
Referral program
Every couple has a share code. When friends sign up and redeem it, both couples get a free month of Knotli Pro. There's no cap on how many couples can use your code.

You can download Knotli, pair with your partner, and try it before deciding. Knotli Pro unlocks the full set of games, decks, and insights. One subscription covers both of you — it's tied to the couple, not the person, so only one of you ever pays.
One of you signs up and sends the other an invite link from the app. Opening the link installs Knotli and carries the code along, so pairing happens as part of signing up. You can also type the six-character code by hand under Settings.
Right now Knotli is on iPhone, so you'll both need one to pair. Android is coming soon, and when it launches everything will sync between the two — games, the board, photos, and check-ins.
Give a month, get a month. Every couple has a share code. When another couple redeems it after signing up, both couples receive a free month of Knotli Pro. A couple can redeem one code, once.
Only the two of you. Answers, photos, check-ins, and messages are visible to you and your paired partner, and nobody else. Knotli doesn't have public profiles, feeds, or discovery.
Either partner can unpair from Settings. Shared content stops syncing, and each of you keeps your own account. If you pair again later, you start a fresh shared space.
In the app, open the You tab, then Settings, then Delete account. Deletion is immediate and removes your profile, answers, photos, and messages. If you can't get into the app, email us and we'll delete it for you.
Subscriptions are managed by the App Store, not by us: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Knotli. Cancelling keeps Pro active until the end of the period you've paid for.
